Howick Falls

When travelling from Johannesburg to Durban, take the back roads.  Hop off at Estcourt, pass Mooi River and experience the wonderful Nottingham Road – a road that will satisfy both rider and pillion with its great sweeps and beautiful scenery, before reaching Howick and its amazing waterfalls.

Howick is to great place to spend an afternoon - admiring the view, browsing around all the little shops with wonderful goods on offer and enjoy lunch at any one of the many restaurants and coffee shops.

A place off the beaten track, but well worth a visit.

The Natal South Coast

The Natal South Coast is a gem to be discovered by bike, but you need enough time.  There are just so many little towns to stop off at – Scottburgh, Port Shepstone, Margate, Uvongo and Port Edward – each with its own majestic views and many things to see and do.

The back roads are in good condition and far better to travel on than the N2, if sightseeing is your mission.  Take your time and explore all the little inroads and turn-offs that is available to you.  You will be pleasantly surprised.
